My Faith Journey by NELSON TubBy

Ann TubbyI come from a happy, loving family background. We were brought up Church of England and I went to the Salvation Army Sunday School. I guess I believed I led a Christian life.

It was a few years later that I met my wife, Ann, and eventually met Malcolm. One day Malcolm asked me to go to Romania with him. It was through these visits to Romania, meeting the people and helping them in different ways that my faith was made whole.

I realised that I was being drawn in different ways. I eventually became a local preacher on note, a circuit steward and part of the work at the Stibbard Methodist Church Centre.

God moves in a mysterious way, and this is very true in my life. One of my favourite hymns is:

To God be the glory, great things He has done.
